In line with our pursuit to share the latest and most relevant updates on medical mycology to as many healthcare professionals as possible in the region, we are happy to announce that we have uploaded the top presentations from the first-ever virtual ISHAM Asia Congress, held last August 2021. More than 30 lectures are now available online as a comprehensive AFWG Masterclass module, which is a perfect way to revisit the lectures – or view for the first time, for those who were unable to attend the landmark event.

The ISHAM Asia 2021 lectures have been divided into six tracks, each tailored to different clinical mycology topics, so you can pick what is most relevant to your practice:

  1. Fungal infections in Asia
  2. Management of fungal infections in immunocompromised hosts
  3. Diagnosis and management of superficial fungal infections
  4. Interventions in preventing, diagnosing and treating fungal infections
  5. Diagnosis and management of invasive fungal diseases
  6. The best of ISHAM Asia 2021

There is a wide range of specialized topics under each track, including: HIV and fungal infection; new taxonomy of dermatophytes; rare fungal infections; the latest on diagnostics; antifungal stewardship; and timely issues and challenges in the field that are particular to Asia. Certificates will be provided upon successful completion of the Masterclass module.

Take advantage of this golden opportunity today, and expand your mycology knowledge at your convenience. Learn more about the ISHAM Asia 2021 Masterclass module here, or access other AFWG educational resources here.
